Volunteering at the Library

Volunteers play a vital role at The New York Public Library. By donating their time, talent and skills, they support and enhance the Library's programs, services and mission.

Cyber-volunteers needed to help the Humanities and Social Sciences Library promote reserved group tours. After initial interview and orientation, volunteers may work from home at their own pace. Please call Maura Muller, Volunteer Manager at 212-930-0502 for more details.
