The Aliance for Downtown New York provides service, advocacy, research, and information to enhance the quality of life of Lower Manhattan, and advance the dynamic, vibrant neighborhood as a model of the 21st century Central Business District for businesses, residents, and visitors. The Alliance supports economic development, public safety, sanitaion, transportation and more. Serving an area from approximately City Hall to the Battery, from the East River to West Street, the Downtown Alliance also manages the Downtown-Lower Manhattan Business Improvement District (BID).

 

Chamber On-the-Go is a mobile business support program that helps New York City small business owners like you access free services without leaving your storefront.

During an on-site visit, trained business specialists will:

  • Conduct a snapshot assessment of your business strengths and needs
  • Connect you with free resources to help your business thrive from the NYC Department of Small Business Services, Chambers of Commerce, and local organizations
  • Provide immediate business support and make appointments for future services
  • Answer questions and collect feedback on the challenges and opportunities facing your specific business community
