SIBL E-reference

If you'd like to ask a question, fill out our e-reference form. A staff member from the Science, Industry and Business Library will respond as soon as possible, usually within three business days.

Please keep in mind that specific answers, depending on the nature of your question, might not always be possible via e-mail. You may also need to visit the Science, Industry, and Business Library, your local library, or one of the other New York Public Library research centers or branches.  If you need more than a quick answer (in other words, your question will involve extensive research), the library offers a fee-based research service through NYPL Express.
