Space Rental Opportunities

The Schomburg Center complex, a 75,000 square foot, three-building facility is located at Harlem's historic crossroads - 135th Street and Malcolm X Boulevard (formerly Lenox Avenue). In addition to state-of-the-art study and storage facilities for the five collection divisions, the facility houses a seventy-five seat multi-purpose room and a 340-seat professional theatre.

The following rooms and spaces are available for events of various sizes:

	LANGSTON HUGHES AUDITORIUM Capacity: 340 seats
	LANGSTON HUGHES ATRIUM Capacity: 250 guests 1,150 square feet
	AMERICAN NEGRO THEATRE Capacity: 75 for meetings/forums 125 for receptions 703.5 square feet stage: 195.5 square feet
