Electronic Delivery Issues

We pride ourselves on delivering material when you have requested it. It is good practice to notify your technical support department that you often receive e-mail that contains a link from NYPL Express. With technical support groups continually updating e-mail security, sometimes the e-mail containing the link arrives at your company’s server but is not forwarded to your personal e-mail account. If you have not received your material first check your spam/junk folders.

In cases where people receive notification that the document has been delivered but cannot open it we recommend rebooting your computer. Doing so almost always solves the problem. Additionally, allow sufficient time for the document to download. If there is an interruption during downloading the file may get corrupted. If this should occur delete the corrupted file and download the file a second time.

If you do not receive your item when you requested it and have attempted to resolve the issue by utilizing the above recommendations please call us immediately. Do not wait several days as the material may no longer be available on our system.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Central Bank Publications

Central banks compile and publish data which reflect a country's economic and financial state. The Library's collection includes extensive holdings of publications of the Federal Reserve System, the central bank of the United States. Additionally, The Library has collected for many years annual reports, statistical bulletins and other key documents from central banks all over the world. To discover what The Library may hold from a particular central bank, search CATNYP (the online catalog for the research collections). You may do an Author search with the exact name of the bank (e.g., Banco de la Republica Colombia, Deutsche Bundesbank) or a Subject search with the phrase "banks and banking [name of country] periodicals." NYPL Express will be happy to assist you with searching and/or copying from any central bank publications in the collection.
