These prices seem to depend on issues like condition, dust jackets, and whether or not the book is signed. Also, I guess, how much you can get someone to give you for it. My personal copy of the book cost $12.00 in 1995, and I'd be lucky if I got a quarter for it, but that doesn't make it any the less valuable to me.
