REGISTER BY DATES

October 8th, 2004

  • postmark date for registration by mail
  • in person registration at local board of elections

October 22nd, 2004:

  • registration at board of elections if you have been honorably discharged from the military or;
  • have become a naturalized citizen since October 8th.

October 13th, 2004:

Notices of change of address from registered voters received by October 13th by a county board of elections must be processed and entered in the records in time for the general election.

VOTING BY ABSENTEE BALLOT

October 26th, 2004: Last day to postmark application or letter of application for ballot.
November 1st, 2004: Last day to apply in person for ballot.
November 1st, 2004: Last day to postmark ballot. Must be received by the board of elections no later than Nov. 9th.
November 2nd, 2004: Last day to deliver ballot in person to the board of elections.

MILITARY VOTERS

October 22th, 2004: Last day for a board of elections to receive application if not previously registered.
October 26th, 2004: Last day for a board of elections to receive application for general election if previously registered.
November 1st, 2004: Last day to apply personally for general election ballot if previously registered.
