You can call the branch or drop by later in the day to see if there are
any slots left.
Can I send someone else to register for me?
Yes.
How do I register online?
Here are the instructions
to register online.
Can I be a standby?
Yes. If there are slots available or if a registered student is late or
fails to show up, standbys are accepted on a first-come, first-served
basis. Different locations have different grace periods for late students.
Please call your location for more information.
What if I sign-up for a class and later decide I can't make it?
Please phone the branch where you signed up and let them know you are not
able to attend.
Can I attend the 2nd session of a class if I didn't attend the 1st session.
No. Students are expected to attend all sessions. An instructor can make
an exception to this.
Can I be late to a class?
Classes start on time and we expect our students to make every effort to
arrive prior to the start of class. Registered latecomers seats will be
given to standbys.
Are there pre-requisites for a class?
Some classes have pre-requisites. Speak with a staff member to see if your
computing experience fulfills the pre-requisite.
How many classes can I take each month?
Due to high demand, some locations must limit enrollment to one or two
classes per month. Locations that are most likely to limit enrollment
are the 58th Street Branch Library, the Bronx Library Center, and the
Morningside Heights Branch Library.
Can I take the same class more than once?
Yes. There is only so much we can teach in a class and we strongly encourage
students to come in and practice on their own.
Can I take classes at more than one location?
Yes.
Can children or teenagers take Click on classes?
Yes. We offer classes especially for children and young adults. We discourage
children and young adults from taking our regular classes, which are
especially designed for adult learners. We find that children and teenagers
become frustrated with the pacing of classes not designed especially
for their age groups.
